Father, May those that your Holy Spirit show men their total depravity and hoplessness. That your salvation is only available to them if they repent in their hearts of their sin and call upon you without any faith in their own efforts and trust only in the finished work of the cross. Show them the need to receive eternal life which is not obtained without the shed blood that was 2000 years ago shed for them. That their efforts to do enough good to outweigh their bad is futal. That only you through your son can give eternal life and they shall never perish (go to hell). Please have them understand that you took their punishment and they may receive this free gift right now , called salvation.That they may pray for this free salvation . I pray (beg) the Christian's forgiveness for my intolerance of their faith when I rejected it, but my poems do represent how I feel about the paid ministry of that faith and not how I feel about the true humble followers of the teachings of the Christ. I pray that all children, and all poeple in the world for that matter, will cease to starve while, we, the religious pay to build grand churches and temples to worship a god or gods - when we are best to serve our fellow beings on this our home. I pray to know how can men learn truth on empty stomachs - too much suffering caused by our ignorance? If I am wrong, I pray to know the truth. I want to pray for all of those who are suffering, both mentally and physically--especially for those who have suffered so much so that they have turned bitter and hateful towards others and the world. Also, if you would, pray for my cousin who is dying from an inoperable, malignant brain tumor. Since the age of two, he has been receiving treatment for leukemia and this year was his last year of remission. Unfortunately, due to his radiation treatment he developed a cluster of tumors in his brain. My aunt and uncle have found life quite overbearing and have no hope in anything anymore.
